Warner Bros. Games announced the release date for the MultiVersus Open Beta, the next release phase for the company’s highly-anticipated platform fighting game. The open beta begins for early access users on July 19th, 2022, while the beta will open to the general public on July 26th, 2022. The beta will be accessible on all major consoles and PC with full cross-play support between each console.
The open beta brings a new iconic character to the battle stages in the game with the release of Iron Giant, the well-known pacifist character from Warner Bros.’ 1999 animated film. Iron Giant will be one of 16 playable characters in the open beta phase.
Players can acquire early access to the open beta by either having participated in the closed beta, by watching verified Twitch streams to receive an access code, or by applying online at Warner Bros. Games’ website.
