Branded Breathtaking Installations : Crismon Cloud

Crimson Cloud was a breathtaking installation that commemorates the 150th anniversary and legacy of beauty brand Shiseido. For this immersive activation, Shiseido Ginza Tokyo collaborated with Poh Sin Studio.

The Crismon Cloud installation is one part of Shiseido’s eclectic “From Life Comes Beauty” campaign. The aim of this branded movement is to “inspire and enrich society through beauty and art.” While on display, the installation embraced the sun’s movement, facilitating a beautiful and “intricate shadow play of crimson overcast.” In addition to the installation, Shiseido also launched three award-winning products in limited-edition packaging.

Shiseido’s quest as a pioneering beauty brand is extensive. Starting out as a privately owned Western pharmacy in Tokyo’s glamorous Ginza shopping district in 1872, Shiseido has and continues to explore the essence of beauty through science-backed innovations.
