Social Shopping Features : shopping collections


YouTube officially announces its new ‘Shopping Collections’ feature to help brands and consumers connect through social media marketing. The ‘Shopping Collections’ feature allows content creators to select products based on a theme, and these products will be funneled into a product list that will be showcased in the video’s description. Creators will be able to make ‘Collections’ on their YouTube Studio app, with desktop support coming shortly.

YouTube is also introducing Fourthwall, a new function that helps creators build website-like platforms with all of their content in one place. Fourthwall can also be connected to the new YouTube ‘Shopping Collections’ for additional management.

YouTube already supports Shopify, Spreadshop, and Spring integrations to help enhance marketing capabilities for creators and small businesses.
