The Niantic ‘Campfire’ social AR app is a new complementary platform for Pokémon Go players to use as a way to connect with their fellow fans.
The social app works by letting friends chat with one another, join different groups and setup raids within Pokémon Go for a more seamless user experience. The app offers a more intuitive integration with the gaming app and comes as an evolution of the platform to eliminate the need for participants to utilize external communication tools. Users can also utilize the platform to pinpoint Pokémon they’re looking to capture, light flares and more.
The Niantic ‘Campfire’ social AR app is launching for players in the US in the coming days with additional rollouts taking place on an international basis over the summer.
