Bandai Namco announced a new asymmetrical multiplayer game titled ‘Dragon Ball: The Breakers.’ The video game is set in the ‘Breakers’ timeline of the popular anime series, which is a world in which none of the main heroes exist, only the villains and the humans. This means humans have no superheroes to save them and are tasked with avoiding super-powered villains with only stealth.
The game is asymmetrical, meaning one player will assume the role of a villain hunting down the other team, while the other team will try to escape in a game of cat-and-mouse, similar to popular titles such as ‘Dead by Daylight.’ This game will be available on October 14th, 2022, on PC, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One consoles. While there will not be a PS5 or Xbox Series S/X version of the game, these consoles can still play the previous generation’s version.
