Snapchat continues its commitment to engaging its user base by introducing the After Dark feature, a novel addition to the messaging-to-social media platform. Operating between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, After Dark allows users to curate and share their night’s adventures through a collective story. The unique twist is that the stories remain hidden until 5 a.m., creating anticipation and a sense of shared experiences.
An exclusive aspect of After Dark is its limited visibility. Only individuals who contributed to an After Dark post can view the shared story.
“On Snapchat there are so many ways to express yourself and celebrate your unique friendships. Today, we shared new updates that help you stay in touch with the people who matter most — your friends and family,” Snapchat said in a press release.
