Raptors trading 2-time All-Star, 2019 NBA Champion Pascal Siakam to Pacers: reports

[ad_1]

The Toronto Raptors are reportedly in the final stages of a trade that would see two-time All-Star and 2019 NBA Champion Pascal Siakam head to the Indiana Pacers.

Indiana will reportedly send three first-round picks to Toronto — two in 2024 and one in 2026, as well as forwards Bruce Brown Jr., 27, and Jordan Nwora, 25, according to Adrian Wojarowski of ESPN.

Wojnarowski added that the New Orlean Pelicans would also be sending 22-year-old guard Kira Lewis to the Raptors in exchange for a second-round pick from Indiana, as the third team in the trade.

CBC Sports has not independently confirmed the report.

Siakam, 29, joined the Raptors in 2016 as the 27th overall pick. The Cameroonian power forward has averaged 17.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists since.

Other than winning the Raptors’ first championship in 2019 and been selected as an All-Star in 2020 and 2023, Siakam won Most Improved honours in 2019, made the All-NBA Second Team in 2020 and the All-NBA Third Team in 2022.

More to come.
