An impressive collection of Bulgari jewels by a Private Collector
Christie’s introduces Jewels Online, marking the inaugural jewelry auction of 2024. The bidding period opens on March 11 and concludes online on March 21. Featuring a carefully curated assortment of signed jewels, diamonds, and colored gemstones, the highlights will be on display from March 17 to 20. This exhibition is accessible to the public at Christie’s Rockefeller Center in New York.
The auction boasts prestigious creations from renowned makers such as Buccellati, Cartier, David Webb, Hemmerle, Seaman Schepps, Tiffany & Co., Jean Schlumberger, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Verdura. Prices cater to collectors of all levels, commencing at $10,000. The top lot is a Harry Winston Diamond Ring with an estimated value of $700,000 to $1,000,000. Notably, over 40 of the 200 lots in the sale showcase iconic Bulgari designs spanning several decades, from the 1960s to the 1990s, including collections like ‘Boules,’ ‘Monete,’ and ‘Serpenti,’ among others.
This auction features two exceptional private collections— “A Fashionable Life: The Collection of an Elegant Lady” and “Property from the Collection of Fritz and Lucy Jewett,” encompassing antique, vintage, and contemporary jewels. Moreover, the sale introduces two charitable collections: “Property Sold with the Intent to Benefit the PBS Foundation” and “Property from the Collection of Nate Berkus.” Proceeds from the latter support Financial Aid at Grace Church School in New York City.
